Picasso Inspired Art

Jacob Philpott and Violet Glendenning had an amazing time at a recent workshop presented by author Antony Penrose at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. Mr Penrose wrote a 2010 children’s book called “The Boy Who Bit Picasso”, and was about to release a second on Miro, another artist with whom his family spent time.  Mr Penrose was in Dunedin at the end of a tour of New Zealand. In an article in the ODT Mr Penrose said that his intention was to “help children find their own artistic talents”.
